Fünkhaus
Fünkhaus’ proximity to Downtown Blacksburg
Fünkhaus was built in 1830 in Historic Blacksburg and converted into a duplex in which Grae, Greyson, Maria, and Tiya lived. The name Fünkhaus was given by the former tenants in the Fall of 2023, with Fünk being Grae and Tiya’s side and Haus being Greyson and Maria’s.
Timeline:
Fall 2021: Greyson and Maria move in, the other unit houses two fraternity brothers.
Spring 2022: Grae and Tiya start spending copious amounts of time in the house.
Spring 2023: Grae and Tiya’s apartment floods and are left with no housing, Greyson and Maria take them in for 2 weeks.
Fall 2023: Grae and Tiya move into the other side of the house.
